Huda Buhumaid joined the Dubai Group in October 2006. She is responsible for the overall implementation of the marketing and communications strategies and for identifying, developing and effectively managing strategic partnerships for Dubai Group and its entities.
Prior to joining Dubai Group, Ms. Buhumaid was Vice President - Business Development and e-business Head of Citibank, UAE, where she successfully launched many services such as Citibank Online - Citibank’s internet banking service in the UAE, both for consumer and corporate businesses, CitiAlerts - the mobile notification service and the e-card - the Internet shopping card.
During her 10 years at Citibank, Ms. Buhumaid headed many functions; Usage & Retention, Student Segment, Deposits, and the Co-branded Cards Division where she launched several card products including the award-winning Emirates Airline co-branded credit card and EPPCO-Citibank Credit Card. She also developed several sales promotions, one of which won the Freddi Best Bonus Award in 2001 and 2003.
Ms. Buhumaid holds a Masters (Hons.) degree in Organisational Excellence from the University of Bradford, UK.
