General
1.1 DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM is open to all Dubai First Credit cardmembers issued by Dubai First UAE, hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”. All Dubai First Credit Cards issued by Dubai First UAE are hereinafter referred to as the “Credit Card”.
1.2 The purpose of the DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM is to reward the Customer for using his / her Credit Card. Under the DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM, the Customer earns “Points” which will be hereinafter referred to as “DubaiDinars” which can be redeemed for “Rewards”.
Eligibility
2.1 The DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM is offered exclusively to the Customer, as long as his / her Credit Card is in good standing as per Dubai First’s regulations. Every Customer who meets the Terms & Conditions of Credit Cards will be automatically enrolled into the DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM. Enrollment into the program is automatic and free.
Award of DubaiDinars
3.1 The DubaiDinars under the DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM awarded to the Customer are evergreen. They do not have any expiry period.
3.2 For every AED 1 the Customer charges on his/her Credit Card, he/she will be awarded DubaiDinars. DubaiDinars are awarded for retail transactions charged to the Customer’s Credit Card account. Dubai First reserves the right to change at any time without prior notice the ratio between (a) DubaiDinars to be awarded; and (b) the specified amount charged to your Credit Card. The Customer will start earning DubaiDinars from the date of start of the program announced by Dubai First.
3.3 Charges to the Credit Card which are not eligible for Rewards DubaiDinars include, but are not limited to, cash advance interest fees, late payment charges, finance charges, annual/joining cardmembership fees and retail and cash transactions made prior to the DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM launch. Dubai First may add or remove from the above list of eligible charges and transactions from time to time at its discretion. Dubai First’s decision as to what constitutes an eligible charge shall be final and conclusive.
3.4 DubaiDinars are not transferable to any other person and/or Customer and are not exchangeable for cash or any other thing of whatsoever nature tangible or intangible.
3.5 DubaiDinars awarded to the Customer will be shown in the monthly billing statement sent to the Customer, and will be redeemable in a manner as laid out in the Dubai First Cards Rewards Catalogue which will be mailed to the Customer. Only DubaiDinars accumulated up to and shown in the latest issued monthly statement or such other date as determined by Dubai First at its discretion will be redeemable. Details of redemption transactions in any month shall appear in the next month’s statement.
Redemption of DubaiDinars
4.1 DubaiDinars earned by a Supplementary Customer will be credited to the Account of the Basic Customer and may be used only by the Basic Customer for redemption of Rewards.
4.2 For the Customer who has 2 (two) Primary Credit Cards, the accumulation of DubaiDinars from each individual card can be combined together for the purpose of redemption.
4.3 Customers earn DubaiDinars as individuals and cannot request that rewards be provided in the name of another person and/or Customer, including immediate family members.
4.4 DubaiDinars accumulated under Credit Card account are only redeemable by the Customer if the Credit Card is operating (i.e. not canceled or terminated by the Customer or Dubai First), is not fraudulently operated, and is current (i.e. there are no past due balances on the Credit Card).
4.5 To claim a Reward, the customer must have accumulated the required number of DubaiDinars in his account(s), whether single or combined (for dual account holders).
Fulfillment of Redemption Requests
5.1 The Rewards items, which are stocked by Dubai First, will be delivered within 7 working days from the day of approving the redemption request.
5.2 For the Rewards items, which have to be, picked up from merchants the Redemption confirmation letter authorizing the Customer to pick up the Rewards item from the relevant merchant partner will be sent within 5 working days from the date of the redemption request.
5.3 Redemption once fulfilled cannot be canceled or exchanged by the Customer.
5.4 Redemption order for any Reward stated under the DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM catalogue is subject to Dubai First’s approval and availability of the Reward and supplier’s restrictions. Dubai First may without notice withdraw or substitute any Reward for another Reward of comparable value or nature.
5.5 Dubai First reserves the right to disqualify any Customer from further participation in the DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM, if in its sole judgment, that Customer has in any way violated the rules and conditions therein, or has violated the Terms & Conditions attached to his Credit Card. Suspension and disqualification could lead to the Customer forfeiting all the DubaiDinars earned
Warranties
6.1 While Rewards offered will be of the highest quality, Dubai First accepts no service liability for the Rewards offered.
6.2 Dubai First gives no warranty (whether expressed or implied) whatsoever with respect to Rewards. In particular but without limitation, Dubai First gives no warranty with respect to quality of Rewards or their suitability or fitness for any purpose.
6.3 Should a Reward arrive damaged or faulty, then the Customer may notify Dubai First Contact center within 2 days of receipt of the Reward giving full details. Dubai First shall not be responsible for damaged or defective Rewards after the said 2 days.
6.4 Dubai First shall not be liable for any damage or loss incurred by the Customer arising out of the purchase, installation, use or otherwise of the Rewards as for any negligence, breach of statutory or other duty on the part of Dubai First.
Other Indemnities
7.1 Dubai First may, at any time without notification to the Customer, alter the number of DubaiDinars, or cash contribution required to obtain a Reward or impose additional restrictions on a Reward or conditions of obtaining it.
7.2 Dubai First is entitled at any time and without any prior notice or liability to the Customer in any manner whatsoever terminate DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM or cancel or vary it’s benefits or features, or vary, or add or delete any of these Terms and Conditions, or withdraw the Customer from DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM, or modify or limit the value of DubaiDinars already accumulated.
7.3 The DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM Catalogue and its contents may be changed without prior notice. Dubai First reserves the right to change the format or elements of DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM from time to time as appropriate without prior notice.
7.4 Dubai First shall not be liable if it is unable to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions, due directly or indirectly to the failure of any machinery or communication system, industrial dispute, war or act of God, or anything outside the control of the Dubai First. Nor shall Dubai First be responsible for any delay by the participating merchants or any third party in transmitting evidence on any Credit Card transaction.
7.5 If at any time dispute arises in connection with either the DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM or these Terms and Conditions Dubai First’s decision in connection with the same shall be final and binding. Dubai First reserves the right to terminate the DUBAI FIRST REWARDS PROGRAM without prior notice.
