What is NFC?
Near Field Communications (NFC) is a new, short-range wireless connectivity technology that simplifies the way consumer devices interact with one another, making it easy to receive and share information and even make fast and secure payments.
How does the mobile transaction work?
The NFC enabled Nokia 6212 mobile phone has a built-in NFC antenna to communicate with other contactless devices and contactless readers. It also contains an embedded secure computer chip, which stores payment applications such as MasterCard® PayPassTM and Tap & GoTM.
Can the mobile phone perform normal mobile phone functions?
Yes, the Nokia 6212 mobile phone supports 3G and is able to carry out functions such as phone calls, SMS, MMS and GPRS/3G. Please refer to the Nokia 6212 User Guide for more information.
Are the mobile transactions safe?
Your mobile never needs to leave your hand to make a payment. There won’t be accidental payments as the mobile phone needs to be extremely close to the reader at check out to work.
Do I have limit for using my live It mobile?
You can perform as many transactions of AED 100 or less as you wish subject to available limit.
What should I do if I lose or damage my phone?
